It's a weird, unknown world we're living in right now, isn't it? I wanted to update you on the things happening here at Karen Wituszynski Photography and what's being affected so far, and I thank you for being patient during this time. The following are some changes we're implementing to better serve our clients.
30-Day Session Freeze Effective Immediately
No sessions will be held between now (March 16th) through April 16th.
As an effort to reduce the risk of spreading the virus, we have decided to postpone any sessions booked through April 16, 2020. We have been advised by the CDC and the state to practice “social distancing”. As you know, our business primarily works with families of small children. Schools are now closed for at least three weeks. The number of COVID-19 cases in NH nearly doubled from 7 to 13 in a matter of 48 hours, with more results pending. Hospitals are locking down their visiting regulations. Need I say more? This is obviously a serious matter and therefore we will not risk exposure to families, especially ones with fragile newborns. This freeze may be extended depending on the ongoing circumstances.
Refundable Session Fees
Times are unpredictable, but we are still getting inquiries on bookings. SO, if you are still interested, you may still book a session in the next 30 days (to be scheduled anytime after the Session Freeze) and all session retainers during this time will be refundable at 100%, should you choose to cancel for any reason. If you choose to move forward with the session when it is safe to do so, you will receive $100 toward any products. No sessions will be scheduled during the Session Freeze.
Document Your Life
Although we will not be holding any family sessions, we encourage you to take this time to document your own family! I will be posting tips on ways you can document and remember this time and you can participate with other moms in our community over in our Facebook group (Real Moms: Because Perfect is Overrated). In that group, I will also be giving tips and tricks on how to stay sane with your kids being home, and as always, if you need any advice, there is a tribe of other moms in there that is willing to help.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me personally at karen@karenw.photos. In the meantime, stay safe, wash your hands, and I'll see you in our Facebook group.
